Parc régional de la rivière Saint-Jacques

From the Seaway, this river is navigable by canoe and kayak as far as east of Highway 30. This waterway, which forms the boundary between the cities of Brossard and La Prairie, is surrounded by former farmland. Its generally treeless banks are home to turtles and waterfowl such as ducks and herons. In theory, this area could be transformed into a regional park that would include the surrounding woodlands; such a park could cover a larger area than Mont-Saint-Bruno National Park. The river is accessible via Radisson Park, where visitors can rent watercraft.
